A little of this and a little of that

I just re-read my post about my 90 year old grandmother and realized I never finished telling you about my Dad!

Like I said, Dad is teaching his church how to share their faith because they (church members) feel they have no idea how to talk about Jesus with anyone. Dad had tried and tried to explain to them just how exciting and powerful it was when you started seeing people come to the Lord, but unless you experience that you just can't "get" it. That was just a couple of Sunday's before his Mother decided she needed to know Jesus.

God has always known that on January 31, 2008 Hazel Katherine M. would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and HE knew that the church across the street from her home would need to see it to remember just how powerful He is. God placed this burden on my Dad's heart and then God gave him the perfect illustration! Isn't that cool! I think so...

On another note, I have a pretty cool thing brewing in my life right now. You have no idea how bad I want to share it with you, but at this time I can't. Can I ask you to pray that God would give wisdom and discernment to me? Its exciting stuff, but I don't want to take a step without Him. Been there and done that!

And last but not least....

I've seen a couple of Siesta's do this and I think it looks like fun, so I'm going to play the "ASK ME ANYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW" game. Leave your questions in the comment section and I'll do my best to answer them.

I pray you have an awesome Monday!

Well...that was just the coolest thing with your dad and his church. I truly just love seeing God do the detail stuff and we all just sit back and go "WOW!"

Ok...I've got a question for you dear friend....

"What is your greatest struggle right now living out your faith in daily living with friends, family, your girls friends, parents, church, etc??"

Whoa. Thats a big one I know. Feel free to not answer and use 100% discretion because I sure don't want to ruffle any feathers.
I just know that we all have daily challenges and I thought I'd ask.

You inspire me so much Stephanie.
And, you know I'm praying 110% for that wisdom and discernment.

Much love~
Fran

Okay, it is not fair for you to tell us that you 'have some exciting things brewing' and then leave us hanging! (Just kidding - kinda) I am so happy for your family - I know your dad hasnt stopped praising since your grandmother prayed to receive Christ. It is just an awesome thing.
I like this 'ask me anything' thing. I think I might do it on my own blog since I really dont have time to blog this morning. I typed up 7 pages of notes for my class this Wed and while I was finishing I got an error report on my computer that said "Microsoft has encountered and error and needs to shut down". I know I should save my work, but apparently I forgot that time. So, this morning I will spend another 3 hours working on notes. Maybe its God's way of saying He didnt really like the first version.
So, here's my question.......
If you could be any Bible character besides Jesus or Mary, who would you be and why?

Okay, now I am going to my blog to play copycat and do the ask me anything thing too.

I'm going to ask the question that only another woman may ask....How old are you? You look about 16 but I feel sure that you are at least 21. Lucky you!!!

Okay I will play!
Question: How do you and your hubby get time alone? Do you have a date night?

That is really neat. Of all the examples God allowed it to involve your g-ma! God is good.

I am praying for you. I understand I am right there with you making some tough but neat decisions. Just want Him!

Hmmm.... I will have to think of some question.
Much love,
Angela
