Simple Pleasures 1

My dear (now a real life) friend Patty has begun to host "Simple Pleasures". I am so on board as this theme is something God has been singing over me lately.

One of the things I LOVE about my girls is that they love to shop. They enjoy trying on shoes as much or more than I do. Monday, was a shoe shopping day. Chloe needed to get a pair for the musical so we headed out. At some point we wound up in Target. It's a new Target and it is lovely.

We spent quite a bit of time looking at flip flops, sandals and clothes. Then we walked around and looked at all the "decorating stuff" as my girls call it. We could have spent all afternoon in there. :)

It was a simple pleasure to spend that sweet time with the girls. We talked about girlie stuff and just enjoyed each others company.

After a very heavy weekend, it was ministry to my heart. :)

I still want to share more from the weekend, but I just haven't had the time or mental energy to put it down...it's coming because it was huge in my life. I just want to do it justice.

Hey...can I tell you just how precious you are to me? You are and I have missed you this week!!

We have a lot on our plate this week and I'm not reading blogs very much...I'll be back on a more normal (HA) schedule after this weekend is over!

Ok, a new Target. Spill about where it is. I love Target and am so bummed that we don't have them up here in the mountains. I'll have to check it out the next time I am down.

Can't wait to check out Simple Things.

Normal, what's normal? Ha! At least that's what I've been telling myself after adding our sweet baby girl to our family on Feb. 23rd. Everyone is asking me,"Are you getting back to normal?"
Simple is the name of the game for our household these days also. We may never be "normal" again, but I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!!

Okay, I know nothing about shopping with little girls, but I DO know that I have been listening to Mandisa today and I love that CD. I love all of them, but I really like Freedom Song .....that's dancing music!!!

Girls after my own heart! Maybe some day soon when Leah and I get down your way we can meet you and your girls at MOG and all of us girls can try on shoes together.

I was shopping Monday night with my 2 girls at Belk. We had such fun trying things on and looking. We didn't buy anything though, we were looking for the 16 year old but everything was so low cut!! Yikes. But it was so much fun to get out with just the girls.... a nice bonding experience isn't it?
I finished my laundry room makeover, you'll have to come check it out when you are not too busy and see my great Hobby Lobby finds. My new favorite store...

I can so relate to your simple pleasure. G and I will go and spend hours just looking. Some times we get popcorn and eat it while we are walking around. We always buy something but not too much and we just have a great time. We call it decorating stuff! I love your girls and you!
