How About An Encouraging Word

I have all my pictures saved onto our computer and they are set to scroll as my screensaver. Today, I was sitting alone in our family room it was a quiet moment and I was just talking to God about this thing going on. It feels like He is absent from this situation..I know that He isn't and that His timing is perfect. BELIEVE YOU ME...He is making it VERY clear through lots of different avenues. He's kind of cool like that.

One of the the things I had been talking to God about was, I'm taking BIG gulp, am I supposed to go to Siesta Fiesta. I was questioning because of a few other things going on, mainly financial things. Chad says YES you are going! My heart says YES! But other things are really making me, well....worry. Let me assure you, up until recently I have not questioned my going at all. I have had peace and God gave the ticket and my airfare so I really do feel like I am to go. But this afternoon, I needed to be sure.

So I'm pouring out my heart and the following picture pops up. It's the commissioning from a Living Proof Live conference sometime last year. One of our Siesta's took it and made this..it is beautiful and when it popped up so did I.

I forgot that it was on my computer and honestly I don't remember saving it..Hmmmmm

I'm going to share it here and if I knew who did this I would give them credit but I have no idea!!! But I sure am thanking God for her talent, it has encouraged me today.

I don't know how He is going to do it, but I do know that He has never dissappointed me. I can't wait to share with you what happens.

I LOVE this and always LOVE Beth's commissionings! It's one of my favorite things she does!
I wish so badly that I was going to the Siesta Fiesta. It just wasn't to be this time- finances, scheduling, etc. I sure hope they have another one, though, because I will be saving up!
Love you and am praying for you!

I think we are all feeling this way about going to SA right now.
I could tell ya'll why I don't want to go, but I know its where I'm supposed to be and I know He will do things great and glorious.

Praying for us all Steph and praising Him for the gift He gave you.

I'm going to read it again now. :)
Hugs and blessings and peace,

You are going! God has paved the way for you so far and He will take care of the rest as well. Do not let your responsibilities at home cause you to feel guilty - you are a better mother when you spend time with others like you in worship!!! I only wish I could meet you there and be in that room!!! Hey! Make some of those Heath bars and take them to snack on - that way you wont be the only one who gains 10 lbs from them! hahahaha

Questions, they come with whirlwind force sometimes! I am thankful that we have One Awesome God Who has ALL the answers!
You just stay close to Him sweet sister! God is up to something huge in your life and I am praying that God's favor and blessing fall on you and your family in amazing ways.

I'll tell you what, I've never even HEARD of Siesta Fiesta - but I do know what it is like to make plans to do something different, away from your family, that you are feeling God call you to do - and then hesitate right before. I believe that's Satan's way of clouding our minds to not see the miracle and calling of God. What a triumph to be picked on by Satan that we can Count ourselves Blessed! Because if we're not being picked on by Satan - he's not seeing us as a threat to him.

I don't always comment, but I had to on this one. Sounds like Satan is up to his tricks..he uses the same ones all the time..guilt, shame, doubt...Put him in his place..under the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Oh how I wish I was going!..my middle child said last night.."Aren't you going to that Fiesta thang?"
I will be lifting you and my friend Fran and Leigh and all the others and eagerly looking forward to reading all about it!
Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father!

Hi there.. I haven't written in a while. I wanted to say thank you for posting, it truly truly encouraged me this afternoon especially the part- "Be Brave, Mighty Warrior. Your God is with you. When waves are crashing, stand to your feet".

I truly pray and believe that the same God that allowed you to see the pop up will make everything clear for you in HIS own time..

God Bless..
